Diocletian's Palace

This legendary retirement villa was built by the Roman emperor Diocletian in 305 AD. The palace is now a walled city and brims with cafes, bistros, boutiques and a hotel. Do visit Cathedral of Sveti Duje and the Baptistery of St. John which is also situated within the palace.

Plitvice Lakes National Park
